Brief
We all will die one day. Death is a fact of life loaded with mystery. So what happens when 13 artists go into a room with the intension of spending a week contemplating their relationship to death? The result of the collaboration between visiting artist Kai Althoff, CCA professor Jordan Kantor and eleven graduate studentsis a temporary site-specific work inside of the PLAySPACE Gallery, authored equally by all of this group's members.

Their exploration of what it means to die, be dead and deal with the dead encompasses artworks made in a variety of media, including documentation of their experience. What happens to our secrets when we die? What part of your consciousness continues on? One artist asks her father to direct her in a death scene, while another attempts to recreate "the great white light" experienced by those who've nearly died. From decay comes regeneration and the confrontation with death's finality is fertile ground.
